VOLUNTEERS, MARSHALS & HELPERS

Be Part of Race Day

TriCheddar doesn't happen without you

Not quite ready to race yourself? Already crossed our finish line and want to give something back? Either way, marshalling is one of the best seats in the house. Every wave, every lap of the Gorge, every finisher's medal — it all runs on people like you.

Why volunteer?

Be part of the community that makes race day happen — meet fellow locals and race regulars.

No experience needed. You'll get a full briefing before your shift starts.

See TriCheddar from a different angle — cheering on friends, family and strangers alike.

A brilliant way to give back if you've raced before, or scope things out before you enter yourself.

How you can help

Saturday · Daytime
Event Setup

Help transform Kings of Cheddar into race HQ — signage, barriers, transition fencing and getting the site race-ready.

Saturday · Afternoon
Registration Help

Welcome competitors, check them in and hand over race numbers during Saturday registration, 2pm–5pm.

Sunday · Race day
Course Marshal

Be part of the action on race morning — direct traffic, cheer on competitors and keep everyone safe on the course.

Sunday · Afternoon
Pack Down

Help us leave Kings of Cheddar exactly as we found it — barriers, signage and site clear-up once the last finisher is home.

You must be 18 or over to volunteer. All we ask is reliability, a bit of enthusiasm, and suncream — or a rain jacket, this is Somerset.
