Entering Transition
Only those taking part in the race will be able to enter transition. You will only be able to enter transition if you have your race numbers attached and visible to the marshals. No spectators or friends and family are able to enter transition. This keeps the transition area clear and provides for added security for bikes and other equipment.

Bike Racking
Bike racking opens on Sunday at 6:15am and closes at 7:55am. Please note that when you arrive to rack your bike, your bike must have its number attached to the seat post and you must be wearing your helmet with the race number attached to the front and have this securely fastened, this is so that the marshal can check that your bike and helmet are in good working order.

Bike & Run In/Out
Bike and run in/out will be clearly marked. Make sure you orientate yourself thoroughly with the transition layout and your bike location prior to the event.

Toilet Facilties
The transition area will have two portable toilets. In addition to the toilet and changing facilities in Kings Fitness & Leisure Centre.

Collecting Your Bike After The Race
Congratulations on completing your triathlon and thank you for taking part in the first TriCheddar.
We need to make sure your bike leaves with its correct owner – You.
​To make sure this happens we need to see your race number, bike number and helmet number all match as you exit transition.
