Sprint Distance – 20km inc. Cheddar Gorge climb
The Sprint 20km bike course features three right-hand turns. These will be well signed posted and marshalled along with any other significant junctions. However, it's your responsibility to ride safely and follow the highway code.

It will be mandatory for participants to perform a ‘Foot Down & Stop’ at these junctions.
The mandatory ‘Foot Down & Stop at Junction’ rule requires the competitor to stop at the road junction with a foot on the ground while remaining in full control of their bike at all times. The competitor can only re-clip or place their foot back on the pedal and proceed into or cross the road junction once the road junction is clear of all oncoming traffic.
Failing to stop at the road junction with a foot placed on the ground breaches the rule and will result in a two-minute time penalty. Multiply breaches of this rule will lead to disqualification.
